Titles and Ideas and Thoughts, Oh My!
Hey there,
I keep a spreadsheet that I call the “Shrek Box” after an index card box that I used to use that I filled with story/novel ideas, titles, etc. The e-version of it is thankfully way more organized and easy to utilize. I have tabs for tracking submissions, deadlines, WIPs and “Shrek Box”—that still tracks titles and ideas. I was looking at it today like “Ooo…that sound good. Maybe I should actually write it?”
What do you like to use to keep track of your writing life?

Signed the contract for a short and not-so-sweet dark fable in an upcoming anthology. I’ll keep you posted because it’s a great project!
